Uzaifa (22) son of Abdul Hameed, a resident of street number 2 of Mohalla Mehdi Sarai of Thana Kotwali Mandi, had left his mobile shop located at Jogian bridge on an Activa. His friend Mohammad Zaid was also sitting behind the Activa. As he took the Activa in front of the police station Qutubsher, the roadways bus coming from behind hit him at a high speed. The young man was dragged along with the bus Activa for about 200 meters. While the friend sitting behind him fell away. People stopped the car and the young man was taken to the district hospital. Where the doctor declared Uzaifa brought dead.

Police station Qutubsher in-charge Prabhakar Kantura says that the family wants to take the dead body without post-mortem. Paperwork is being done. The body will be handed over to the relatives.
