Delhi Metro Commuters can now access internet using free high speed WiFi at all Yellow Line stations

New Delhi [रणविजय सिंह]. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday gave another good news to its passengers. Free high-speed WiFi service has been started for passengers on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro. DMRC informed that free WiFi service is available at all the stations of Yellow Line. Passengers can use the internet for free during the journey. DMRC officials said work is underway to provide similar services on other metro lines as well.

According to the information received, free high-speed WiFi service will be available at all metro stations from Samaypur Badli to HUDA City Center on the Yellow Line. DMRC said that this high speed service on Yellow Line will prove to be a special boon for the students of Delhi University.

How to Use Free Wi-Fi

In order to use the high-speed internet facility at Yellow Line stations, a passenger needs to log on to the “OUI DMRC Free Wi-Fi” network. After that an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number via SMS after entering the phone number and email ID. Once the login is successful after entering the OTP, the passenger can enjoy free Wi-Fi service. After logging in, passengers will be able to enjoy all internet applications like email, Facebook, YouTube, Google search, WhatsApp, video and audio calls.

DMRC said that if any passenger faces any problem while using free WiFi at metro stations, then the helpline – 9541693693 can be contacted. Through this helpline, the problem of the passenger will be removed.

More than 330 access points at 37 stations

DMRC informed that more than 330 access points have been set up at 37 stations of the Yellow Line so that internet can be provided to the passengers without any hassle. DMRC in association with Techno Sat Com is trying to introduce this facility inside metro trains within a year.
